FIRST TIME?

We’re glad you’re here. Anderson Hills exists to aid people in knowing God in a personal way which will then move them to a growing relationship with God and sharing that relationship with others.
Come See Us! We are working on developing a live streaming of our sermons thru Facebook, because we understand the changing nature of our culture. In the meantime, join us live on Sunday mornings at 9:45 for small group Bible study and/or 11:00 for worship. We don’t require you to dress up, just show up. Bring the family. Bring a friend. We are working on building this faith community with you in mind.

What if I’m not sure about Christianity?
That’s why we started the church. You can explore your faith at your own pace. We don't have all the answers either and that is why we get together to learn about who God is and what that means for each of us. The answers will most likely look different for each of us because God created us as unique beings. We do believe that Christianity is more about a personal relationship with God than a set of DO's and DON'T's.
1st Baptist Anderson Hills is a 44-year-old church that has had a rich heritage. But we are more than our past. We are working to continue to be a vibrant church for today. We are open to changing our methods to meet the personality of the church, but we have always sought to glorify God and present Him in a way that resonates with people where they are.
Instead of being just another club or group to be a part of, we desire to KNOW God beyond just the stories from childhood. Our goal is to GROW in our understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus, and then SHOW Him to others through the lives we live. We’ll be the first ones to admit that we’re not perfect. We’re actually far from it. If that’s something you can relate with, you’ll fit right in.
